И так мы узнаем уже в самом начале нашего недельного раздела истинную причину освобождения евреев из египетского рабства. С какой целью выводит Всевышний Израиль из рабства? Ответ на это – у Него существует обещание, которое Он еще не исполнил - обещание дать Землю Израиль. И поэтому Всевышний перечисляет все стадии Освобождения, говоря: «и Я выведу вас, … и спасу вас, … и избавлю вас, … и возьму вас, … и приведу вас на Землю, о которой Я клялся» (Шмот 6:7-8). То есть, все те религиозные, культовые причины, связанные с жертвоприношениями, которые Моше перечисляет фараону даются только «для отвода глаз», тогда как сыновьям Израиля Моше сообщает настоящую причину – осуществление обещания, данного Праотцом – возвращение в Землю Израиля и заселение ее.
