我們對神的信仰似乎屬於人與神之間的緯度,而人與人之間的關係,似乎屬於另外一個緯度。

這樣的理解全然錯誤! 

律法書中有著名的教導要愛你的鄰舍如愛自己,因為我是神<Shemot:19:18>。這句話顯明了兩個緯度之間的本質聯繫,而且不僅僅是“聯繫”,從本質上而言,這是同一個緯度! 

假如一個人對他人沒有良好的道德行為,他會相信我們同為神的創造嗎? 

人的行為反映了他的靈魂並揭示了他的信仰。律法書為什麼教導我們,要愛鄰舍如愛自己?緊接著這句話的,就是“我是神”。這就是原因!因為誡命來自於神!!因為神創造我,給我生命;神也創造我的鄰舍,並給他生命。 

當我們具有這樣的意識時,我們待他人的行為也就自然而然地合乎律法的教導公義、道德和良善。

要真正地堅信獨一的造物主真神,就要在我們與他人的互動關係中體現出公義、道德和良善,因為“我是神”。誡命要求我們不僅要愛神,也要愛我們周圍的人。這種一致性將我們的信仰和行為聯繫起來,使我們行出真正的公義、道德和良善。
