BN Mag' is the magazine of the Noahide world, published by Brit Olam, Noahide World Center in Jerusalem, under the presidency of Rabbi Oury Cherki. Each issue accompanies Noahides and truth seekers: the Seven Commandments as a way of life, the relationship between Israel and the nations, and the real life of communities across the world. This is the English edition of issue No 5, offered freely in exchange for an email address.
No one knocked on your door. You arrived here because a question would not let you go. And at this very moment, people are telling almost the same story in Portuguese, in Swahili, in Hindi, in Spanish. This issue of BN Mag' is devoted to that phenomenon: scattered individuals becoming a worldwide movement, and the first Noahide International Congress that will gather them in Jerusalem, November 2 to 6, 2026.
Editorial direction: Danielle Perez, Brit Olam, Noahide World Center.
The magazine is offered freely. Leave your email address, and the complete issue (PDF) reaches you immediately. Your address is used to send you this issue and the ones that follow; nothing else.
BN Mag' is the magazine of the Noahide world, published by Brit Olam, Noahide World Center in Jerusalem, under the presidency of Rabbi Oury Cherki. It appears several times a year and accompanies Noahide communities across the world.
A Noahide is a member of the nations who recognizes Hashem, the World Creator, and lives by the Seven Commandments given to humanity from Adam and Noah onward, according to the Torah of Israel. A Noahide remains fully a member of his own people and culture.
No. The Noahide path is neither a conversion nor the founding of a new religion. It is a covenant and a way of life, written into humanity from its origins. Israel remains Israel, the nations remain the nations, and a new relationship opens between them. Whoever wishes may make a declaration before a Beit Din; he does not become Jewish and does not abandon his identity.
The Seven Commandments are the universal moral foundation given to humanity: six commandments given to Adam, a seventh added in the days of Noah. They ground a life of justice, knowledge of the World Creator, and the dignity of the nations. This issue shows how they are lived in practice, in family and in community.
The first Noahide International Congress takes place in Jerusalem, November 2 to 6, 2026, organized by Brit Olam. Representatives from six continents will lay the foundations of an international movement: a founding charter, continental councils, an international Beit Din, and a ceremony at the residence of the President of the State of Israel. Program and registration: brit-olam.org/congress.
Rabbi Oury Cherki is the founder and president of Brit Olam, Noahide World Center in Jerusalem. He teaches the universal dimension of the Torah of Israel and accompanies the worldwide Noahide movement.
