Do I need to convert?

No. You are already a Noahide, and declaring before a Beit Din changes nothing about what you are, it lets what is already true be spoken aloud and witnessed.

What exactly is a Beit Din?

Three people who sit as a court of Israel, who receive your declaration and stand as its witnesses, never a gate between you and Hashem.

I already made my declaration. Why do this too?

Your first declaration was real and was heard, and this carries the very same words, from spoken alone in front of a screen to spoken before witnesses, among a people.

Is there any cost, or any obligation?

No, there is nothing to pay, and nothing is asked of you but your readiness. You can step forward, or wait, entirely in your own time.

Why it is done together

When you left the world you came from, you learned to search alone. For many, being alone in the search slowly became a kind of second skin. But Emuna was never meant to be carried by one person in a quiet room. It reaches its fullness the way a single voice reaches its fullness, in a choir, in a people, in a covenant kept alongside others who have walked the same road.

There is an old resonance in the Hebrew word for a commandment, mitzvah. It echoes the word tzavta, togetherness, companionship. A commandment was never an order shouted from far away. It is an invitation into partnership, with the One who asked it of you, and with everyone else who has said yes. To declare before a Beit Din is to step fully into that company.

How it works

There is no hurry in any of this. The covenant has kept its patience for a very long time, and it will wait as long as you need.

Then the quiet work begins, the part you do not see. We look for the right three, a Beit Din that can receive you, online, at a gathering near you, or here in Jerusalem, in a language you are at home in. A Beit Din is people, not a slot in a calendar, so it can take a little time. We would rather it be right than quick.

When it is arranged, we write to you, personally, with a date and everything you need. Until then there is nothing you must do, and no one is counting the days but us.
