You are not about to do us a favor. Favors, as we established, oppress.
A partnership works differently. You decide that what we build in Jerusalem must exist in the world, in more than twenty languages. You cannot build it with your own hands, so you send your strength ahead in the form of resources. From that moment you have an emissary in Jerusalem, and everything he builds is yours as well.
There is an ancient Hebrew name for this: tzedaka, from tzedek, justice. Not a gift descending from the strong to the weak. The deed that sets the geometry right.
A standing partnership is monthly by nature, because a venture is not an event. It lives in time, the way everything real is paid for: in installments only you can transfer.
Every partner receives, once a month, a short letter from Jerusalem: not a receipt, but a report from your emissary.
